Forgiving Pets and People!

Updated: Jan 29, 2022

One day I was taking a bath, and the all too familiar sensation of someone touching my hair got my attention. When I asked who it was, it turned out to be one of the many horses I grew up with, “Maarjeska.” She was asking me to pardon her for a couple of things that she had regretted.

I realized that there were a few things that I regretted in our relationship as well.

This little tickle to my hair caused me to go on and spend an entire afternoon working on all of the horses, cows, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, and rats that I had grown up with as pets throughout my life.

Yes, I did have pet rats and even a pet owl! Here is a Call that will help to clear any active energy.

I, _____, place myself, _____, into a Full Court of Atonement with each and every animal I have ever loved and or who has loved me. I ask to resolve any and all conflicts between us at their points of origin.  I ask for amenable dissolution of this energy.   I ask us all to make amends and redeem ourselves.

Maarjeska needed a little extra attention because some pretty serious things had gone down between us. I realized I had lost some of my affection for her, and our relationship had less respect than before these serious events. Up until trying to forgive her, I had blamed her entirely, but in retrospect, I realized that I had some apologies to make for my behavior as well.

Apologizing is a tricky thing. People tend to feel attacked when someone says "I forgive you." out of the blue…

“I forgive you for, ___.” This wording usually evokes a response of something like, “I can’t believe you are still mad at me over that!” Blah, blah, blah.

We never mean to start a fight by saying we forgive somebody, but we usually do. I have learned the hard way that it is always best to forgive someone at the soul level and forget the idea of telling them about it. We feel better when we forgive. The detrimental energy is released from the cells of our body, and we feel better.  There is no need to go to them in person and say anything about it. If someone you’ve worked with comes to you and brings it up, then, of course, it is healing for them to hear it. But there is no need to go out of your way to let them know…

Talking about the past is usually not received well and can restart the hard feelings.

Even at the Soul level, it is best to apologize first. We always have a tiny shred of responsibility, even if it is only for not forgiving them sooner.

Apologizing for our actions first works best with animals as well.

When calling the Court of Atonement, I addressed the animals I knew well by using their name and the family’s last name. my dog Buddy became “Buddy Ellis” Yet, with animals that didn’t have a name, I described them the best I could. “Richard and Sheryl’s Rooster!” and also. “The stray cat that came up to me in my backyard and bit me in the hand!”

Get ready and pick an animal in your life. (Especially if it has hurt you)

I, ________,  place myself into a Full Court of Atonement with ________ I ask to analyze our timelines and resolve any and all conflicts between us at their points of origin I, __________, apologize to you, __________.    (repeat until it feels light)

I have not forgiven you.  Please forgive me for that.   (repeat until it feels light)

I, ___________ ask myself to forgive myself for not forgiving you. (repeat until it feels light)

I, ________  place myself, ________  into a Full Court of Atonement with, ________  I ask to analyze our timelines and our family lineages.  I ask to resolve any and all reasons we have not yet forgiven and or pardoned each other.    I ask for amenable dissolution of this unforgiveness.

If other people are involved in something that happened between you and an animal, bring them into the Court of Atonement now.

I, ___________ place myself, __________ into a Full Court of Atonement with (pet), ____________ I bring in anyone and everyone involved, _______, _______, _______, _____. I ask to correct this energy for the highest and best of everyone involved.

You can use this if you have ever been bitten by an animal, thrown from a horse, Had a pet that injured anyone. I just used it for a dog that knocked me down as a kid and caused me to break my guitar! This process is also powerful to use on humans who have hurt us too!
